New Sculpture

Most of my sculpture work uses raw stone, formed into inspirational work in the landscape around the home or inside the home. Click on the desired thumbnail to see a larger version.
Please contact me if you are interested in my present or future sculpture.

I have been having a lot of fun with the wonderful boulders I've found here in the southwest and southern California.

The Desert is a constant reminder of the enduring value of water. This 4.5 foot diameter boulder was carved out to make a totally self contained fountain…..bring it to the site, add water, and plug it in. (Watch out for the cat because this will attract birds.)

I've found a great metal artist, Randy Addy, to help me bring some new dimensions to my work. Here this hollow 30" copper sphere was made from beaten copper sheets then welded with bronze…. Then gently placed into the finger-like stones.

My philosophy with stone as sculpture is to find that primitive "calling".

Aynee
def.- Arabic for "my eye".

These make great focal points (no pun intended) in any landscape, particularly with accent lighting at night. Even the junkyard background can't detract from this sculpture.

Floating Fire - What better way to take the chill out of the evening and enjoy the stars?

The combination of the bubbling sound and the soothing drama of the dancing flame will leave you mesmerized for hours.

Throw in a few beautiful upright, "standing" stones with granite benches and the flickering flame will lead you to some ancient ruin in a long forgotten time. Bring the marshmallows and take a seat.

Note: The fire is provided by the propane bubbling up through the water….this is for alert adults only!
